I stumbled upon this historical marker while visiting in Auburn, AL. It should be of particular interest to my readers who are former Delta residents.

I never knew until just now that the name of the song is "Old Folks at Home." And I'll always call it by the misspelled name.

....on the Chattahoochee. I hate country music, and it infuriates me that I all I ever hear when I see this sign is the Alan Jackson song. How did it even get into my brain in the first place?!
